One of the most decorated players in table tennis, Ma Long is the first male player to have won every singles title in the sport. He is a three time Olympic gold medalist, winning the Team gold in London 2012 and both the Men’s Singles and the Team gold in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. He spent 64 months at world number 1, of which 34 months were consecutive. This is the longest amount of time any male player has spent at world number 1 in the history of table tennis.
